The Golden Heart Foundation was founded by seven friends who wanted to empower marginalized women by opening two community kitchens and skill development centers. In 2015, seven friends decided that instead of spending an evening out, they should use their position of affluence to perform some 'hands-on' work. These friends then joined hands to build the Golden Heart Foundation in Pune. The organisation has grown from a humble beginning to presently operate two community kitchens that feed over 12,000 people each month, as well as two skill development centres where women are taught vocational skills such as tailoring, English speaking, basket making, and beautification training. Harjinder Kaur Talwar, the company's founder, began her career as an entrepreneur at the age of 23 in 1995, when it was nearly impossible for women to obtain bank loans on their own. As a result, Talwar had to enlist the help of her father as a business partner in order to acquire an Rs 3 lakh bank loan to create Comvision India, a computer-training services company for corporations at the time. However, the industry was not ready at the time, as only a few significant companies were interested in IT training. Zara Rutherford: Youngest woman to fly solo lands in Riyadh after Mumbai

Zara Rutherford is the youngest female pilot on a mission to make solo flight across the world. She has landed in Riyadh, after stopping briefly in Mumbai. Zara Rutherford, from Belgium, landed in a small aircraft at Riyadh's King Khalid International Airport on Thursday. The staging of this event in Saudi Arabia was organised by aviation authorities to shine light on the role of women in the aviation industry. The goal was to empower Saudi women in the field of aviation in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia in accordance with the Kingdom's Vision 2030. Dominique Mineur, Ambassador of Belgium to Saudi Arabia, and a number of Riyadh Airports Company and Saudi Aviation Club executives greeted Rutherford when she reached Riyadh after landing in the United Arab Emirates.
