KNYA Med started went from making PPEs for government hospitals to supplying eco-friendly medical scrub suits, face masks, lab coats and more to healthcare workers across 650 locations. KNYA Med, a Mumbai-based medical gear company, debuted its EcoFlex scrub suits earlier this month. These are medical professional outfits made of recycled polyester. Vanshika Kaji, 27, a fourth generation textile entrepreneur and co-founder of KNYA Med, said, "Our EcoFlex Technology uses 100 percent recycled polyester manufactured from PET bottles found in ocean garbage." According to the founders, in the year and a half following the outbreak of the pandemic, KNYA Med has emerged as one of the leading suppliers of medical scrub suits, lab coats, face masks, compression socks, and scrub hats to more than 500 medical facilities in 650 locations across the country.
