Amrit Pal Singh became millionaire in 9 months by selling Toy Faces NFTs
Amrit Pal Singh has become a millionaire within a year. He did so by selling nonfungible tokens, or NFTs, of his artwork, called Toy Faces. In around nine months, Amrit Pal Singh, a designer and illustrator, earned almost $1 million by selling 57 nonfungible tokens (NFTs) of his artwork. Despite working as a designer and illustrator for nearly nine years, Singh only received his first NFT in February. Singh claims he made it after a buddy suggested that one of his previous creations, Toy Faces, would work well as NFTs. He continues, "I got a few bids right away." In addition to commissions, Singh, who is based in New Delhi, India, went on to sell more NFTs of his Toy Faces on marketplaces like as Foundation and SuperRare. Toy Faces are 3-D cartoon portraits of various individuals and figures, such as Malala Yousafzai, Steve Jobs, and Frida Kahlo.
