Battery Smart, an electric vehicle (EV) battery switching firm, announced a $25 million fundraising round headed by Tiger Global, with participation from Blume Ventures and Orios Ventures. This is the third Indian EV firm to receive funding from Tiger Global, following EV manufacturers Ather Energy and Ola Electric. The round gives a boost to Grain's aim to turn virtual lectures and meetings into video snippet libraries. Zoom, the Slack Fund, Unusual Ventures, and Freestyle VC were among the other investors in the round. "We're building a video meeting system of record for information," Co-Founder and CEO Mike Adams explained. "Grain enables employees to 'click and interact' around insights, subjects, teams, or relationships." Wiz Freight has secured Rs 275 crore in a funding round. Tiger Global led the Series A round in the supply chain startup. Wiz Freight, a supply chain startup, has received Rs 275 crore ($36 million) in a Series A round led by Tiger Global and co-led by Axilor, Foundamental, Arali Ventures, Stride Ventures, and Alteria Capital.
