Vidit Aatrey, Co-founder and CEO, Meesho has joined the board of Navi Technologies. Aatrey will serve Navi as an independent director. Navi Technologies has announced the appointment of Vidit Aatrey as an independent director on the company's board. Aatrey, who is joint founder and CEO of Meesho ,  has been appointed by it in the new role, with effect from April 9, 2022. Aatrey's appointment is part of Navi's continuous attempts to improve its board, which has recently added three new members: Abhijit Bose, Shripad Nadkarni, and Usha Narayanan. With this appointment, Navi's Board, which now has seven members, will have a majority of independent directors. Several startups, including Meesho, and Flyhomes, are pushing for the ‘work from anywhere’ model. The aim behind the move is to boost flexibility. Social commerce platform Meesho is allowing its employees to work from anywhere permanently. This comes at a time when India Inc. has asked more employees to return to the office after the number of Covid-19 cases decreased. Meesho, Flyhomes, NoBroker, Angel One (previously Angel Broking), ITC Infotech, Magicpin, and Springworks are just a few of the organizations that have gone completely remote or given some or all of their employees the option to work from anywhere.
