Koshur Store, which sells selected items of local sellers to people across India, was founded by a Kashmiri engineer, Moris Adam. He believes in ecommerce even when the internet is down. Koshur Store achieved Rs 2.9 crore in sales in FY 2022. Corona virus turned out to be a blessing in disguise for numerous ecommerce and mobile commerce titans, including Amazon, Flipkart, Zepto, and Swiggy. According to Rakuten Insights, over 59 percent of consumers polled stated they shopped online during the epidemic as a kind of social distance. Shopflo raises $2.6M in Tiger Global, TQ Ventures led funding round

Shopflo has secured $2.6 million in a seed funding round. Tiger Global and TQ Ventures led the round in the ecommerce enablement startup. Shopflo, an ecommerce enablement firm, announced a $2.6 million seed fundraising round headed by Tiger Global and TQ Ventures. The round also had the participation of Better Capital and a group of angel investors from the Indian startup ecosystem. Shopflo is now one of the few Indian firms at the pre-product stage that have gotten seed investment from Tiger Global. While Tiger is a multi-stage fund, it seldom invests in seed-stage startups. Shopflo, founded in 2021 by Priy Ranjan, Ankit Bansal, and Ishan Rakshit, is a platform that enables direct-to-consumer (D2C) companies to enhance their checkout experience and conversion rates on their own websites. Flipkart to bolster its e-commerce ecosystem with ANS Commerce acquisition

Flipkart has announced the acquisition of ANS Commerce. The deal will enable Flipkart  to bolster its e-commerce ecosystem. Flipkart, the e-commerce arm of the Walmart Group, announced the acquisition of ANS Commerce on Tuesday in order to bolster its online retail ecosystem in the country. Flipkart stated that following the acquisition, ANS Commerce will continue to function as an independent e-commerce solutions platform under its current leadership team. Ravi Iyer, Flipkart's senior vice president and head of corporate development, said, "Our relationship with ANS Commerce began last year when they were a part of Flipkart's tech startup accelerator program, Flipkart Leap. Flipkart is now delighted to welcome the ANS Commerce team to the Flipkart group." Meet Ashvini Jakhar the 26/11 Indian Navy Hero who built Rs 25 cr business Prozo for e-commerce

Ashvini Jakhar served in the Indian Navy before he built a company to serve the e-commerce industry. Prozo now clocks a turnover of Rs. 25 crore. The story of Ashvini Jakhar is about a boy who studied in a village school and became a navy doctor before building Prozo, a cloud supply chain company. Ashvini, who is 38 years old now and hails from Haryana, completed his medical studies at the Armed Forces Medical College (AFMC) in Pune. He reached to the level of Surgeon Lieutenant Commander in the Indian Navy before returning to civilian life and starting a business for the e-commerce industry. Ashvini founded Prozo, a cloud supply chain firm, with just five people about six years ago. "I experienced a knee injury while playing volleyball for my college team in a zonal competition," recalls Ashvini Jakhar.
