Wiz Freight secures Rs 275 cr in Tiger Global led funding round
Wiz Freight has secured Rs 275 crore in a funding round. Tiger Global led the Series A round in the supply chain startup. Wiz Freight, a supply chain startup, has received Rs 275 crore ($36 million) in a Series A round led by Tiger Global and co-led by Axilor, Foundamental, Arali Ventures, Stride Ventures, and Alteria Capital. In August of last year, the Chennai-based business raised $3.5 million in a venture round headed by Axilor. Wiz Freight wants to grow to 15 countries in Southeast Asia, West Asia, and Africa with the new funds, according to a statement from the business . In addition, the business will hire additional employees and establish two research centres in AI, blockchain, and connected devices in Singapore and Bengaluru.
