A Mumbai court, on Thursday, granted bail to 63-year-old Hemanti Deepak Kulkarni (wife of DSK and Director in DSK Group of Companies) after four years of detention in Yerwada Central Jail since 2018 in the main FIR for alleged siphoning of Rs. 2091 Crores. Advocate Aashutosh Srivastava, who represented kulkarnis', briefed the media about the bail order. The counsel convinced the Chief Metropolitan Magistrate, Dadar, through hours of arguments in the present FIR. "My client was arrested (in August 2018) in the present FIR under sections 420 and 34 of IPC and the Court considered the merit of the case to grant her bail today," Aashutosh Srivastava said. Delhi, India – Envision Energy today announced that it has been awarded a 2000 MW wind turbine order in India. The 596 wind turbines, all manufactured in Envision’s India factory, will be delivered by the end of 2023. Envision will supply and commission its state-of-the-art EN156/3.3 wind turbines for the projects. EN 156/3.3 has a 156m rotor - the largest in the country. According to a strategy paper, the railways will invest in startups to obtain a head start in acquiring ideas straight from them. The policy aims to provide seed funding of up to Rs 1.5 crore for creative technical solutions for the national transporter. The Indian Railway Innovation Policy would identify and empower Indian innovators to work with the railways to build cost-effective, implementable, scalable solutions and functioning prototypes for the national transporter. A senior official explained, "Capital inadequacy is a major constraint in the startup ecosystem, particularly at the seed and 'Proof of Concept' developmental stages.
